The Reframe XR Story: How Freedom to Launch Helped Bring Mixed Reality to Classrooms
A former educator turned techie, Jonathan had a vision for the future of the classroom. After years of working in mixed reality for a leading tech company, he quit his job and started his own venture, Reframe XR. With his unique point of view, he developed a platform that makes it easy for a teacher anywhere to build a mixed reality lesson plan and set up content with existing headsets or iPads in their classroom. After piloting with his first school district, he knew his technology was solid and his vision had potential. However, he was have trouble telling his story to help his unique point of view stand out. That's when he engaged with Freedom to Launch for support. Over the course of a few months, we created a comprehensive social media, LinkedIn, and blogging strategy for Reframe XR and gave them a new website. All so they could tell their story and reach new heights.

The Kindred Story: Building a Brand That Inspires Change
When Kindred founders Saamra Mekuria-Grillo and Maggie Scott-Weathers needed to develop a strong brand identity for their growing social impact organization, they partnered with Freedom to Launch. Through a collaborative virtual process, Freedom to Launch helped transform Kindred's mission and values into a cohesive brand that authentically represented their vision. The result was more than just visual and verbal elements—it was a solid foundation that allowed Kindred to connect more effectively with their community and focus on their important work. This partnership demonstrates how the right support at the right time can help social impact organizations find their authentic voice and create meaningful connections.

The ASELA Story: How MindCatcher is Changing Teacher Development
When Nakeyshia Kendall Williams noticed how traditional teacher development focused on fixing weaknesses instead of building on strengths, she created ASELA—an assessment that helps educators identify their unique capabilities. What began as a simple Google Form transformed into a professional platform through her partnership with Freedom to Launch, despite the challenges she faced as a non-technical founder. Today, teachers using ASELA are discovering strengths they never recognized in themselves, like one educator who identified as a "Compassionate Connector"—a skill she hadn't seen in herself at the start of her career. As MindCatcher expands to work with more educational communities nationwide, Nakeyshia continues to refine the platform based on user feedback, with plans to add reflective journaling and other features that will deepen educators' understanding of their strengths. ASELA isn't just changing how teachers see themselves—it's reimagining professional development from the ground up.
